What are your room configurations?

We have fully self-contained 2 bedroom apartments and 1 bedroom apartments.  The bedding configuration is a queen bed and two single beds or the choice of a queen bed and a king bed in the 2 bedroom apartments and a queen bed or two single beds in the one bedroom apartments.

Does every room have a view?

Every apartment has fantastic ocean views.

Does every Apartment have a balcony?

All units have front and rear balconies with sliding door access from the lounge and access from both bedrooms to the rear balcony.

With ocean views across the water to Surfers Paradise and the northern Gold Coast the balconies are an ideal vantage point to Whale watch during the migration season (May to October).

Bayview Apartments face north towards Surfers Paradise and the bedrooms face the South Coast so the apartments have good cross breeze from the front and rear.  The bedroom have ceiling fans.

Do your apartments have room to move?

Yes, our apartments are very spacious with a good size living area, front and rear balconies and even the bathrooms are a good size.  Some apartments have exceptionally good access in the main bathroom shower; the only obstacle is a metal strip about 1cm high on the floor with a removable hand held shower rose for ease of showering.

How close is the beach?

Bayview Rainbow Bay apartments are perfectly located opposite the patrolled area of Rainbow Bay beach.  We have a prime beachfront location.

How close is great surfing?

An easy stroll across the road to Rainbow Bay and Snapper Rocks or you can choose to walk to Duranbah.

What facilities are on offer

A good size pool, outdoor heated spa, all weather BBQ area, sauna, games room and full size tennis court with complimentary use of equipment.

How close is the airport

We are 3.5 kilometres from the Gold Coast airport, a short 10 minute drive.   Brisbane Airport is around 112kms – a 1.5 hour drive.  Shuttle buses are available from both Airports to Bayview Rainbow Bay.

How can Tours be arranged?

We can arrange all tours at no extra cost – just ask at Reception.

We have a variety of information available in the foyer as the Gold Coast is full of attractions, things to do and ways to spoil yourself.

How close is the major shopping centre?

Some of Queensland’s largest shopping centres including Robina, Harbourtown, Pacific Fair and Australia Fair are all easily accessible via car and/or local buses.

Driving time is 25 minutes to Robina, 40 minutes to Harbourtown, 30 minutes to Pacific Fair and 35 minutes to Australia Fair at Southport.

What facilities are nearby?

The local shops are just around the corner behind us within walking distance (includes take away cafes, liquor store,  convenience store with bakery and laundromat.

Situated across the road beachfront are council BBQ’s and a galaxy play setting.

Twin Towns is an easy 8–10 minute stroll and Tweed Centro (the local shopping mall which includes Woolworths and Coles Supermarkets) is a further 2 minute stroll past Twin Towns.

Coolangatta is an 8 minute walk along the beachfront where you will find everything from cafes, restaurants and good shopping.

The Rainbow Bay and Greenmount Surf Clubs are literally on our door-step – less than 5 minutes walk.

Bayview Rainbow Bay is located within a short drive to:

  • John Flynn Private hospital
  • Gold Coast tourist attractions and shopping
  • Byron Bay (45 minutes)
  • Brisbane (80 minutes)
  • Golf Clubs

What are the local attractions?

You can walk and cycle for kilometres along the beach and riverside paths.

There is fishing, golfing and bowls; food and wine trails in the hinterland; shopping at Pacific Fair, Robina Town Centre and Harbour Town; local weekend markets; Byron Bay is just down the highway; national parks, theme parks, movies, the Casino are all easily accessible and Twintowns Services club is just across the way.

On the second Sunday of the month (as well as the fourth when there are 5 Sundays in the month) the Coolangatta art and craft markets make the Coolangatta beachfront come alive.

Are there any good fishing spots nearby?

Yes, most definitely.  You have the choice of river, beach or off shore fishing.

Are there any good walks close by?

Yes. Rainbow Bay to Kirra has excellent walking paths.  You can walk along the ocean front both ways for several kilometres. Perfectly safe for children and bikes as well.

Is there public transport?

Surfside buses services the entire Gold Coast.
